Six new agri-food resources included in the regional register, including PAPPALUNI BEANS, about to be recognized as a SLOW FOOD PRESIDIO.
This was stated in a note by the regional councilor for Agriculture Gianluca Gallo, in announcing the registration in the Regional Register of Agricultural and Food Biodiversity - plant section, of six new traditional plant resources. These are the following local varieties: Secria Wheat, Pappaluni Bean, Poverello White Bean, Mormanno Lentil, Belmonte Calabro Tomato, Longobardi Eggplant.
