MONTAGNANA HAM FESTIVAL 2025
We could not help but pass by as ambassadors for DOP ECONOMY for this event that has been consolidated for years in the village of Montagnana (PD), among other things one of the most beautiful villages in Italy.
From May 14th to 25th, Prosciutto Veneto DOP returns to celebrate Montagnana. A unique opportunity to taste this extraordinary product, to meet the ham factories of the Consortium for the Protection of Prosciutto Veneto DOP and to immerse yourself in the medieval atmosphere of this walled city, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy. The island of taste, the large covered pavilion, will host the stands of the ham factories of the consortium, each of which, in the elegant Gourmet Room, will have a dedicated dinner to present their product, in a delicious themed menu. In addition to tastings of the star product of the festival, the pavilion will feature a bar area, some pastry shops, a cheese stand and a restaurant offering delicious first courses. The Gourmet Room, in an area of the pavilion, is accessible by reservation, and offers table service for tasting various types of prosciutto seasoning combined with tasty first courses. During the weekend there will be guided tours of the prosciutto factories, where the producers will illustrate the various stages of seasoning. In addition, a rich program of guided tours is planned, for the beauties of the city. On Sunday the festival will be enriched by a large market of antiques, vintage, crafts and typical products.
The DOP ECONOMY platform launches the first edition of the "DOP BREAKFAST WEEK" contest, where we want to involve tourist facilities that want to join this initiative to create during that week a corner with breakfast products exclusively with a designation of origin, the best of the production guaranteed by the certification, more or less known products or coming from the region where the facility is located or in the case of unavailability of some products and finally coming from other regions. There is no minimum or maximum number of products to offer, we are able to provide minimum packages of various products from companies selected by us and specifically designed for breakfast use, with wholesale prices to be presented directly in your breakfast buffet. They will be both sweet and savoury, as well as it will be possible to also include products that are perhaps already used or preferred by the facility, important that they are DOPIGP. STG SQNZSQNPI branded or coming from SLOW FOOD PRESIDI. The only request: the presentation with an advertising banner supplied by us to be placed alongside it in a clearly visible manner in which you can see the products.
to highlight the initiative, to be noted that these products, if not consumed during the DOP BREAKFAST WEEK, can be incorporated very well into the normal usual processes, even in the restaurant sector, since in most cases they are cured meats, cheeses and other easily assimilated products. Just as it will be given the possibility to continue the supply of one or more products of your choice to be included in the usual breakfast or in the catering sector, being products of superior quality, certified and guaranteed by the ministry and the related consortia that follow very strict, identity-based and sometimes historical traditions, which often cost even less than products that are not protected and not guaranteed.
The initiative will be advertised on social media and the media, which involves the consortia, producers and various players in the supply chain, not least those who propose them to their customers. When presenting them on the buffet, a photo as attractive as possible is required, so as to reward
the best presentation and be the subject of an award in the form of DOP economy products, a newspaper article and media coverage.

You will be contacted by one of our managers, who will provide all the relevant information and minimum package of products, no advance payments are required but only upon delivery.

It could be the opportunity to insert into your business, products not used or not known before, guaranteed 100% and perhaps at lower prices than similar products usually used, with a consequent increase in the appeal of the structure and of the
